Instructions

- Sauté the onions and garlic: In the same skillet, add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute, until fragrant.
- Add the cabbage: Stir in the shredded cabbage. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes until the cabbage begins to soften and is lightly browned.
- Season: Add the paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine. Add the butter and let it melt, stirring it into the cabbage and sausage mixture.
- Optional tang: If using apple cider vinegar, pour it in at this stage and stir to incorporate.
- Serve: Remove from heat. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
